Electrical System and Energy Management
This department history was found back to 1963 named the “Energy mechanical faculty” under Energy mechanical Department of the National University of Mongolia. First admission was in 1960 and graduation was in 1965. The fundament of developing for the all of section is electric energy sector. During the developing, electric system department had been changed structure and name. Also departments were separated and combined each others. But this department’s main purpose of graduation process is not changed.

Russian specialists’ supplements were enormous for teaching stuffs growth except our senior teachers. At that period Russian lecturers S.D.Avekyants, B.G.Ter-Zakharyan, V.V.Krimov, V.I.Klesov were build the laboratory Theory electro technique and professor Kh.Sukhbaatar worked together. Also they were wrote many handbooks, now we are using. A.N.Kapsaulidze and Jeleznikov were teaches Power electric network course and professor Kh.Tsagaan was apprentice teacher.
Nowadays, State prize takes-2, Doctor of Science-3, professor-2, doctor-2, associate professors-2 are working in this department. From this lecturer stuff Sh.Gantumur and B.Purevsuren were successfully accomplished their Ph.D program on this department.
During 50 years, since first graduation about 1800 of electrical engineers and energy managers were graduated. The lecturer stuff members of this department are working on industrial and research works and implemented and fulfilled all this research into practical.
Our team members published 18 monograph, 50 books and textbooks, 12 pamphlet, 2 Encyclopedia, and 36 scientific papers in abroad and 284 in domastic, 36 of speeches on scientific conference in abroad and 180 in domastic, and inculcated to industry 3 overseas investment projects, 12 state projects, 104 scientific research works and 18 technical drawing, 34 technical Economical feasibilities.
